Our work here is to integrate ourselves into key places for gospel sowing, supporting local churches and ministries as they share the good news with their neighbors.

Despite the great darkness, there is still hope! The evangelical community in Leeds may be small, but God's work is evident in it. The Leeds team partners with three local churches, all of which are eager to see the gospel spread to not only every corner of Leeds but even beyond. We are excited to come alongside them as they fulfill the mission God has placed on their hearts.

Leeds
Leeds is a bustling, growing city with a vibrant artistic community. A city of opportunity, it's packed with a variety of accents and languages, with someone from every contintent represented.

But underneath the semblance of life lies a great darkness. Leeds is lost. The stately buildings that once housed worshipers of God have been converted into nightclubs, office buildings, even headquarters for other religions. Leeds is famous for the Otley Run, a weekly event where young people by the hundreds visit nearly two dozen pubs and spend the day getting drunk. Thousands of Leeds residents have never heard the name of Jesus, and for those who have, the message of the gospel makes no difference to their lives.

Pray for Us

Two local churches in Leeds are developing new ministries in various boroughs of Leeds which historically have not had a strong church presence. Please pray for open doors within the community and open hearts to the gospel.

Leeds has 80,000 university students with less than 300 engaged in campus ministry or local church. Pray that students will mature in their walk with Christ and that others will begin a relationship with Jesus.

Partnering with US volunteer teams alongside local churches and ministries is an effective evangelistic strategy. Pray that the park outreaches, festivals, and discovery Bible studies planned for the summers will bear much fruit and further God’s Kingdom.
