The Todd Family
Throughout history, Oxford has been a place of influence. The University of Oxford is the world’s oldest English-speaking university. There have been 28 British Prime Ministers, over 30 international leaders, 55 Nobel Prize winners, and 120 Olympic medal winners who have studied at the University of Oxford.
Today, there are around 27,000 students at University of Oxford, with more than half being graduate students. International students make up 46% of the total student body, coming from more than 160 countries and territories. Oxford is also home to Oxford Brookes University, with 19,000 students; 66% are undergraduates.
Think of the impact current students could have on the world. This is why we share who Jesus is for those seeking, encouraging them in their faith and equipping them in discipleship. We engage people in conversation in local parks and on the street with the Good News of the gospel. We invite them to courses we run about the identity of Jesus.
With Brits spending an average of 4 hours each day on their mobile devices, we seek to use digital engagement to redeem the screens. Through online ads, conversations, links to Bible downloads, and Gospel presentations, we desire for people to find Christ through technology.
Please pray with us that students in Oxford will be impacted by the Gospel, will impact others for the Gospel, and impact the world with the Gospel.
